Hello Guy with a brain. I was reading a post that you wrote concerning wether or not ther was a God and if there was evidence for the existence of God. I want to let you know that there are a large number of Christians who spend there lives develpoping there trust and faith in God and looking and studying to see wether or not what is said in the bible is true and accurate.

I'm sure you can understand that this indeed is scientific in its most simplictic state. What I am referring to is something called Christian Apologetics. It is the defense for Christianity as the truth that all humanity is desperately looking for. It is looking critically at the things stated in the bible to see if they are indeed historical or scientifically accurate.

I can say that I received Christ by faith and at that moment I knew He was real because I could feel the burden of the guilt of sins I needed no one to let me know I had released off of my shoulder and a peace like no one could have given me or taught me or fought a war to give me it was an internal peace that only comes from God.

I was content but also knew I wanted to grow in my understanding of the things of God to see if God was true since the bible states that in God there are no lies and that He cannot lie. What I found friend is that the Lord is indeed true and that He is capable of believing in.

I have studied the DNA structure of humans to see if we really did come from some cosmic oooze billions of years ago. I have studied the complexity of life in its most simplistic form to understand how complex and intricate it is. I have studied to see where the bible came from and what its roots were in History. I have studied archeological evidence to see if the bible was accurate in its statements about Kingdoms, nations and people in antiquity. I have reviewed the accusations that others make about the bible's authenticity or accuracy or the idea that it contradicts itself. I have studied things written in the bible that only a God could know and studied the odds of someone writing those things down. I am mentioning prophecy that was written by historical figures that would come and have come just as those who prophesied (on inspiration from the God they too believed in) said they would come.

A good example of a prophet who is highly unbelieved by todays scholars not because of the innacuracy of what He said but because of just how awe inspiring accurate His predictions were about the Kingdoms that would rise and fall on the earth was the Prophet Daniel. He wasn't just a sheepherder as some mis-lead people state but a wise man who was given much authority in the ancient babylonian empire. This man predicted perfectly the succession of Kingdoms all the way till the end of days and how they would crumble and the way the next would take its place. This is trully convincing of the existance of God and of Jesus.

I have researched the Life of Christ. I have studied the prophecies of who the messiah would be to see if Jesus really lived it. I have learned that God gave us innumerable witnesses of Jesus life and ministry through the 4 gospel accounts of Christs life on earth (Matt. Mark. Luke. and John). Many believe the bible is one book and discredit the whole thing failing to understand that it is a collection of 66 books written over 2500 years of History by people from all walks of life and from many different nations and yet the same truths are revealed about God.

All of this but still there is more. Let me share with you the most powerful proof of all that God is real and that the bible is believable. This proof is the ability of God to hide Jesus person, ministry and the life and way He would die as well as His ressurection in the old testament scriptures. See the bible says that is the Glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of Kings to seek it out. So by concealing some things about Jesus (Though He is plainly given freely to all) God can see the sincerity of any mans heart wether or not He really wants to know God. The bible says even more clearly that when we seek for God with all of our heart (Mind, will, emotions) we will find Him because we will see Him. The reason people don't believe there is a God is because they are blinded to the things of God. Once you know who He is through the bible you will clearly see Him everywhere working in everything. I have studied and I know these things to be true. I am a changed man because a real God revealed Himself to me by Grace when I took the first step and asked Him to forgive my sins which I needed no man to remind me that I had.

I challenge you therefore you asked for proof I believe it is all around you wether or not you are willing to look for it is up to you. However don't be angry at what I have just done for you but now you have no excuse for not knowing why you cannot see God.

I will leave you with this and as I believe you are a wise man I know that this statement will enlighten you and open your eyes as it is clearly true.

food for thought, you need to re-charge your brain. Don't you understand that those countries are no threat to these born than brain washed thugs. They know these countries are easy targets when militants are ready to move in and spread their Islamic rule through the country. Look at Africa a perfect example. The U.S has the back bone and brains to realize whats happening, and where willing to do something about it. I thank god for this, for I am not ready to have Islamic rule in this country. So if you think that America is always looking for a fight think again, America is always looking to remain a free and civilized country. Wake up.

You are such an idiot - Where do you contrive that this "kid" had a disadvantaged youth and his father wasn't present? Where is your compassion for the defenseless woman who thought that she was in the safety of her own home when this tick on society "found himself" inside her house? Whitfield tried to commit a federal offense with a semi-automatic weapon and has other pending charges. Maybe you could post his bail and have him live in your house. What a shame he didn't rush an officer who could have been forced to shoot him and save us law abiding citizens the cost of his trial.
